Madain Saleh ... One of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world

From Paris, Fadwa Al-Shebany

Madain Saleh offers visitors and tourists traveling to Saudi Arabia an exceptional opportunity to learn about a unique historical and cultural heritage.

French news site Minutes News reported that Madain Saleh is one of the most beautiful sites in the world, and the best tourist destinations that visitors can enjoy visiting in Saudi Arabia.

"In the middle of the desert, the archaeological site of the city of Madain Saleh gives us the remains of a city and a striking civilization in history. If you are planning a trip to Saudi Arabia, feel free to stop and visit Madain Saleh. “

the report added Mada'in Saleh has been listed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO since 2008 under the name of "Stone”.

The report also notes that the unique archaeological site in the northwest of the country, covering 500 hectares, has the history of an ancient civilization dating back 2,000 years. Madain Saleh contains the remains of a Nabatian city called Hajra, with many sandstone-carved facades.

The stone site is similar to Petra's archaeological site in Jordan, as both signatories date back to the Nabatian civilization, which covered southern Syria, Jordan, northwestern Saudi Arabia and possibly Sinai.

The report concluded that Mada'in Saleh is not witnessing many visits but is expected to be a tourist destination with the opening of Saudi Arabia to tourism.
